Maison d’ Living is a luxury interior design studio based in Paarl, founded by seasoned interior designer Marina Roper. With over two decades of experience, Marina has transformed homes in Val de Vie Estate, Pearl Valley, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch, creating interiors that are both timeless and deeply personal.

Meet Marina Roper
Marina Roper is a dynamic force in South African design, known for her refined eye, timeless style, and deep love for the Cape Winelands. With a unique background spanning 23 years in global finance and social impact, Marina now leads Maison D’ Living — her signature interior design studio focused on transforming spaces into reflections of beauty, function, and personal story. From her early career at Coronation Fund Managers and Novare Holdings to launching projects across Africa — including FunWorld Nigeria, the SA Terroir Wine Awards, and social impact initiatives like Imagine Scholar — Marina’s journey blends business acumen with bold creativity. She’s worked across industries, organized award-winning events, and even smashed Guinness World Records with the 67 Blankets for Mandela campaign. After pivoting during the pandemic, Marina became certified in home staging and professional organizing, rebranding her vision under Maison D’ Living. Today, she creates bespoke interiors defined by craftsmanship, classic sophistication, and lifestyle-centered design. Her process is deeply personal — every project begins with her client’s vision and evolves into a space that feels unmistakably theirs. In 2024, Marina was appointed President of the BNI Valley of Life Chapter, continuing her leadership in business and community.
